with the acquisition of the Elberfeld, Washington, portrait; thanks Larry.

I was in no rush to get it--been at 517 for more than a year--because one of my principles is to get a card at a decent price. But even more, I've enjoyed the pursuit--getting there--so much that I didn't want it to be over!

Fortunately for me, it's not over, as I'm in the continual process of upgrading and diversifying my collection, which I also enjoy very much, especially as it keeps me in the T206 market, to which I am addicted daily.

Happy collecting,

Doug

Congrats Doug! :-)

Pulled the trigger on these over the weekend. Been chugging along the past couple months, but these may slow the purchases for a while. Now up to 74.

It's been almost two months since I've sent an update, and I've added twenty cards. My new total is 427, like the engine that powers this 1970 Camaro Super Stock "Mr Bardahl"

I also added my first Cobb:

Congrats on the Cobb. May I ask how much it set you back? I ask, because I got a Cobb, bat off shoulder, a few months ago for around $400. Since then, it seems tough to find any Cobb's under $600.
