Rich-

We've never gotten the chance to do a deal here on the forum, but you are truly inspirational. My thoughts are with you and I wish you the best of luck on December 12th.

Rich so sorry to hear this news. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. You probably already know about this, but I saw an incredible piece on 60 minutes last week about new miracle cancer treatments for brain cancer using modified viruses that get injected directly into the tumors that break down the so called shield protecting the tumor from the immune system thereby allowing the immune system to kill the tumor. They've had incredible results with many cancer docs saying this is the biggest break through ever witnessed. Human trials are ongoing, praying that you can take part in something like that.

I'd like to give you 25% above vcp value for one of your cards as a small token.

Wishing you all the strength and bravery in your fight.

I feel the same way. Post them here at 25% over and many of us will gladly donate the extra 25% to your family. Your post touched me. I am truly sorry for you and your family. Stay strong.
Edit: i just realized this post is over a year old and you thought at the time you only had 6 months to live. Keep up the fight my friend.

Rich -

I'm glad to hear that you are still fighting the fight! I hope the surgery went well yesterday and I'm sure we'd all love an update once you're up for it!

God bless! Derek

You read my mind. I saw about the passing of another member and started hunting for this string when I found you revived it yesterday. I hope to hear from him soon.

Hi everyone!

If anyone is curious here is a link to the MD Anderson site that discusses the surgery and a podcast which goes into the procedure in more detail.

https://www.mdanderson.org/treatment...l-therapy.html

A big reason for this post is that I really want to help spread the news about this surgery as the news about it has not spread widely among the cancer community and it looks like it has broad positive implications for anyone with almost any type of brain cancer. So if you know anyone who is dealing with brain tumor issues please pass this information along and/or have them contact me at focusinvestor at yahoo dot com.

Thanks again all!

Rich--

I wanted to thank you for posting for both human and medical reasons. You've got tenacity and faith in abundance, which is all you need.

The LITT technology is really great, so thanks for hyping it. I'm part of a 4-physician team using LITT for Epilepsy Surgery as well, and we love the minimally invasive nature of it.
We are also partnered with MD Anderson and 75% of our use of the device is for brain tumors like yours.
The future is here, and I hope it can benefit you and many other patients out there as well.

Our first case was the woman featured in this article -- a wonderful Pastor here in Columbus. Very pleased to say that she is seizure-free and loving life. I wish you the same success!

Our greatest challenge is getting the word out to prospective patients who would benefit, so thanks for your advocacy!
