I understand there is a babe ruth auto ball which was done and sold in a box many years ago(I guess something like the UDA auto balls are sold now). Does anyone know where I can find some info on these? Also, am hunting a Lou Gehrig check, anybody have info on these as well. thanks for any help scott

The box was lined with purple felt and had two baseballs in it. One baseball was a Babe Ruth single signed ball on the sweet spot. The other baseball had a bunch of little round headshot on it. I can't remember exactly but I think the pictures were of American and National League presidents, but I could be very wrong with that. Both balls sat side by side in the box.

Good luck with either of these items, you'll probably find the Gehrig check very challenging and it will have a price tag commensurate with the difficulty in finding one.

Don't know the date but sure Mastronet could elaborate on it for you. I've seen them 2-3 times.....<br /><br />
