Here is the thread for those of you who want some good reading. <a href="http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=37&threadid=225014" target=_new>http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=37&threadid=225014</a> This is just a complete injustice to the hobby.<BR><BR>With that said, your experience with the auction is also troubling, although not to the extent that WIWAG screwed collectors. But it raises the question that nobody need be accountable anymore. I am not trying to be melodramatic but when will people start to take some f---ing responsibility for their actions?<BR><BR>Greg<BR><BR>

I guess it was only a verbal thing <img src="/images/sad.gif" height=14 width=14><BR><BR>It's true, no one is country is held accountable for for anything eccept the bottom line of the ledger. I would think eBay would go after this guy, since it means lost fees in the form of the selling price.<BR><BR>And people wonder why I am so disgusted with the American Way of Life.<BR><BR>Jay

This one summed it up well, commenting on the fact that WIGWAG has to make good on everyone they screwed, thru 2005:<BR><BR>"No doubt...they still made out in the end...Im sure they made way more than $12k...plus how many people are going to go through their cards....heck...how many regular, casual eBay collectors even know about it?"<BR>

Posted By: <b>runscott</b><p>Right after I created this thread I sent an email to the t205 Cobb seller with a link to it - told him that since he decided not to explain his last second cancellation in ebay, he could do it here...no response.<BR><BR>Upgrade to ebay: I would like to add a "blocked seller" list. Here's the way it works - any time I bid on an item that's being sold by someone on my "blocked seller" list, I get a msg back telling me I'm about to do something stupid. <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14>
