PSA grading general question

I have a few high end cards that were graded before PSA started using half grades. Just curious if they rounded up or down a grade? Also would it be worth resubmitting a card that I am convinced should be atleast a half grade higher.

If you can provide some pics, most on here will be able to tell if it's worth the money and effort trying to get a 1/2 grade bump.

They do not round down. Even if they did, with a regrade you can request a minimum grade. You may wind up paying for cards that don't change though. Take especial note of centering when trying to decide which cards to send.

Bear in mind that as much as people love to fawn over PSA and how wonderful they are, that their standards have not been consistent over time. If anything the consensus seems to be that they are tougher now than they were in the past. Look at a PSA 5 that was graded recently vs. one that was graded 15 years ago. There was a lot more leniency earlier. Don't get me wrong, I think PSA on the whole probably is the most respected TPG and with good reason. But just like anything else in life, they aren't perfect.
