Posted By: <b>Trae R.</b><p>Hit your windows icon key + R<br />(or go to start menu -&gt; run)<br /><br />when the little command line opens type in:<br /><br />cmd<br /><br />then press enter when cmd opens up type in:<br /><br />tracert 1.2.3.4<br /><br />(where 1.2.3.4 is the IP you have)<br /><br />This will trace the steps from your computer to that computer, the last "hop" in that address trace will usually be their ISP... I don't know if that helps, but good luck - usually you can atleast find out about where they live with the ISP information. For example cincinatti.rr.com would be in Ohio. Don't plan on finding someones life story with onyl an IP and an email though... you probably won't get much. <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14>
