1971 Nolan Ryan on ebay question.

I was considering bidding on this Nolan Ryan

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-Topps-...sAAOSwKglddocp

Only thing is that I remembered this card and it was sold last month.
Not to sound conspiratorial am I missing something with this card, or did it just go for to low of a price and it was sold again? Thanks

I am guessing that someone bought it from the Florida seller for what he considered a low price of $191 and is now consigning it through Probstein hoping to flip it to make a profit and will shill bid this auction to protect his investment in case it doesn't go over $200.

Funny how the first sale lists scratches on the case but the second listing does not. Might have been an idea for the flipper to reslab it with the new flip...

$ 30 bump, not sure how much the cosigning fees are but I guess it was worth it.

Sometimes you can be very successful at getting slab scratches out with car wax or scratch removal product. Maybe someone did that. I can't stand people who don't take care of their slabs - invest a few bucks in sleeves already...

Yep, that's what I use. It will get light scratches out. Worse than that, I will bust the slab and sleeve up...
