As a non-sports guy I love how non-sports was as much as baseball in many cases. Dont see that today to often huge diff. between non-sports and baseball. John |
So many interesting things.
First, I like "a collection of over 1000 sets may be regarded as a large one." Large indeed. Also, many prominent collectors, such as Barker and Carter, were cited for contributing to the new catalog, but no mention of Burdick. He was already cataloguing at the Met, I believe, by 1946. |
