Question about an ebay seller
Do any of you guys have any experience purchasing from vintagefootballcardguy on ebay? I did a little research before asking you all. There are a couple of mentions of him in some old threads, and I know his name is Joe Colabella. Other than that, I don't really know anything. I just like to know who I am dealing with, especially when it comes to ungraded cards. I would appreciate any references you care to offer. Thanks.

Never dealt with him but what is his feedback rating? If it is 99-100% positive then that usually means there haven't been problems, also look at the amount of transactions.

Joe Colabella was one of the first dealers to focus exclusively on football cards. I dealt with him quite a bit before grading companies and eBay were popular. He helped me put together a nice 1957 Topps set back in the mid 90s. Good guy.

Joe Colabella
I have bought from Joe a few times over the years. Great guy. Always has nice cards.

Joe offers good value - not the lowest price, but he's very trustworthy on condition. I would buy from him without hesitation and I often consult his website for a check list and for price comparison. http://www.joecolabella.com/

Thanks for all the feedback!
