m101-2 Sporting News supplements--no value in grading?

Love these oversized supplements and they are so fragile they would do well to encase them in plastic--but almost none of them are graded. Of course, BVG is only one who has the holder. Do few people get them graded because they think the holder looks crappy (and do you agree)? Or have they seen that even rare good grades for HOFers such as a 4 or 5 doesn't increase value vs. raw? Is it in fact a waste to get them graded--at least in the BVG holder?

I have a few supplements and prefer them raw. If you sell just describe well.....I am not sure very many collectors collect highly graded ones.

IMO the holders look crappy and are terribly inconvenient to store. As you point out, though, the items are very fragile, and some sort of holder would seem to be proper. I wish there was a holder similar to a card saver in terms of thickness but sealed and labeled like a slab. CGC [the comic book people] had one going for a while for photos but it was a test that never really got traction. Too bad. I have several of them [see below] and really like how they store the photos without being ridiculously thick and heavy. Not every item requires a pound of polystyrene.
