I just grabbed an interesting regional food card on Ebay this week. Not pre-war, but still pretty neat:

1957 BAR-S Meats Membership card featuring Jeff Heath (Seattle Rainiers PCL announcer & former Major Leaguer)

Posted By: Richard Lloyd
Thats a nice pick up Adam....
The article shows "MANY" regional cards and talks in general about regional and minor league cards...The first part of the article highlights some one of a kind cards I have found such as a 1956 PARKHURST card??..This is a forgotten SET in canada..most people know that there were 100 cards in the 1952 Parkhurst set but in 1956 PArkhurst also put out a baseball set that no one knows about.. the article talks about some other rare regional cards I have found from some collectors in Canada..
Best
Dick
PS: I have just completed BOTH 1959/1960 DARIGOLD farms sets(-3) and I am writing a very detailed article about them... I actually found the person in spokane that GLUED the cards to the milk cartons... this article will go into DEPTH of how the cards were made and WHY darigold made them... also, it talks about the types of darigolds cards found today with estimates of total cards in the world today based on the number of milk cartons produced per week in 1959 and 1960

Posted By: Glen V
Very nice article! Pictures of lots of regional issues, some so obscure that few of us have probably ever seen them. Hope the rest of you get a chance to read it.
