August Pickups
 

Figured since there wasn't one started in here for August I might as well kick things off.

My latest acquisition is a Larry Bowa game used glove that is clearly photo matched to his 1971 Topps baseball card. Assuming that the images for 1971 were taken in 1970 this would be a true rookie glove and photo matched on top of it.

Coolest photo-match I can recall. I don't think I've seen a pre-1990 item photo-matched to a baseball card. Amazing! Congrats on the pick-up.

This may have been another, along that same vein.... the font under the bill looks to be the same, but the Card's image just wasn't quite clear enough for me to pull the trigger. I came very close, but someone else acted on it...
