Posted By: rand
i dont know, but it pisses me off to no end when i see this crap!!! i have no idea what the legal ramifications are..but maybe there is a way ebay can make a new member have to give their driver lisence # or some form of identity that if they try to sell an obvious fraudulent listing that they can be turned in with "intent to fraud" and possible mail fraud for recieving payment out of state. also when a newby signs on, maybe their listings get reviewed and they loose their account immdediately when this arises. Ebay is a multi-billion dollar corp, cant they come up with something? besides hidden bidder id's that took them 10 years to achieve??
