Another laughable e mail that I got last night

Got this e mail last night with pics attached:

"Hi. I'm looking to sell my grandpa's autograph collection I inherited. These are just a few. He obtained them when he worked as a PA at Warners and Paramount.

Thoughts?"

He had four James Dean, yeah four, one of the all time toughest in Hollywood.
Also two Marilyn Monroe and a few others.
I told him his grandpa was pulling his leg and he was "stunned" by my reply.
Though I do get a lot of deals from families of deceased relatives the number of grandpa's who are libeled by their families is too funny for words.
If this grandpa worked in the studios you would think maybe one of the items would be signed on a photo.

I think the person who did Marilyn Monroe got bored of doing Michael Jordan.

Richard, just wondering, what would a real nice James dean auto go for ? Thanx for the knowledge !

The Monroe has some ghost writing on it like erased pencil

I guess the first attempt at forgery did not look good and he hated to waste paper.
It could also be some writing on the back that is showing through. I did not bother to ask.

I am glad it was not just me. I thought it was my eyesight. I see double vision in both eyes and will need surgery later this year.

The running joke with baseball card collectors is the number of reprints found in 'grandma's cabinet.'
