I wonder how many graded cards are in the landfill

I know I have thrown out some graded cards because they are worthless,
just wondering how many others have.

I can't bring myself to throwing anything away, so I donate to charity or send them out with other items as "freebies"...

I can't even bring myself to throw away the 1990 Donruss commons sitting in a shoe box somewhere.

Plastic

I have never had a card graded. I have bought some graded cards. Most of the time I free them with a bolt cutter. Many remnants maybe in landfills, although I have been putting them in with the recycle stuff

I, like Daniel, can not throw cards away. I too donate them or give them away

I have know idea, but I would have to imagine of the main companies BCCG should take up a sizable percentage. While I have never dumped a graded card, I have to admit I did dump a ton of common junk wax cards that were taking up space - and in a weird therapeutic way it actually felt really good. Although I have bought many, I am not really into graded cards that much (although I totally get it). I personally buy the card itself, if it's a high grade great...if not I really don't care. The only exception is if there are issues with counterfeiting (i.e. '91 Desert Shield, autographs, etc.)
