Premature listification

I sold a eleven 5-card T206 lots on eBay this past weekend. I had a buyer win two of the lots that ended Monday and I received a paypal email this afternoon at 1:13pm that notified me of receiving the payment. The cards were re-listed 14 minutes later as a single ten card lot that ends in THREE DAYS. The seller cropped my scans and uploaded them to eBay for his listing.

His policy on the listing says he only ships one day per week. Should I send him a message thanking him for the payment saying that I only ship cards on Wednesdays, so I'll send his out on the 14th? :p

I think there's a medication you can take for premature listification

And if it doesn't subside in 4 hours throw a party!!! Cause I sure ain't going to see my doctor like that. He knows me well enough already.

Alan, that was hilarious!!!

Erick, just don't risk the buyer leaving you a "negative" or "neutral" feedback. Also, don't risk a low DSR feedback

I've got a good rating and I wouldn't risk it. The cards will go out tomorrow. I honestly don't care if people re-list the cards I sell them, but they REALLY should be in hand before that occurs. This guy has a BIN on them (albeit high) so in theory they could sell before I ship tomorrow morning.

You should bid on them. Maybe you can win them back for less than what he paid for them. :D

I had a board member purchase a card from me a few weeks ago and turned around and immediately listed it on eBay. I didn't care because I felt it was his to do what he wanted with it since he bought it. However, the card ended up selling for about a 10% loss than what he paid for it (not incuding the eBay and PayPal fees he paid on top of that).

What's the item number? I'll hit the BIN and send him an email telling him that I happen to live in the same town and will stop by this evening to pick them up :D

+1

I wouldn't worry

I found the auctions you were talking about and if he gets min bid he only makes $23, plus he is offering free expedited shipping. I guess any profit is profit, I wouldn't think it would be worth it after fees and having to ship them. To each their own though.

Tell him you plan on mailing them over the weekend but that when you mailed a prior lot at the Post Office last week that they told you due to unexpected heavier than normal shipping for the holidays it could take up to 2 weeks for them to arrive sorry for any inconvience this may cause.

I agree with David, bid on them. I thought of that as I was scrolling down, and read what he said. It would be great if you won them back for less. Even wilder would be if you won them before you'd shipped them. You guys could leave each other 5 stars...

And save shipping costs on both sides:)

Even funnier would be if 5 or 6 people emailed him and said that the cards where fake and he should state that in his listing.

Ok, Sounds good but he would come back to you over it.
