Picked up at a local flea market. Considering getting authenticated...is it worth the time?

Wow, nice grab! How much did you get it for? I was at the Wellfleet flea market last week and there was nothing but junk! Some guy wanted $10 for an open 1988 Topps Traded set....ha!

I do not collect autographs but really enjoy reading the threads/posts on this side of the forum. I have gotten fairly good(LOL) at Mantles and DiMaggio autos because I have seen so many on here. That being said my opinion is basically worthless and this one fooled me. I though it looked bad. Is this style from a certain time frame?

Save your money, between Chris and Shelley, you have 2 of the best Mantle people anywhere. If you are going to flip, you might want to get it certed as sometimes they sell for more, but if keeping it, there is no reason waste the money in lesser experienced peoples opinions.

Edit: I agree that its very nice.
