Anyone going to Chantilly this weekend?

Just wondering

Hoping to duck out of work a bit early to go this afternoon. Didn't think I would be able to, but going to try to make it.

maybe tomorrow

I've got a busy weekend, but might be able to make it Saturday afternoon if it's worth it. Waiting to hear some feedback...

I'll be there in about an hour with another board member. Anyone sees someone walking around in a 80s style Philly Eagles track jacket, that's me.

I can't go today, but hope to be there tomorrow or Sunday.

There will be a rare Dan McKee sighting at this one, along with his always amazing variety of rarities. His cards, as well as his presence, always raise the class quotient of any show by a good deal. In fact, the show this weekend has more quality vintage dealers than have been together at Chantilly in many years. I won't be setting up, but will be there Saturday hanging around.

Good show

I just got back from the show. Only had an hour due to my wife's bday, so I only got to see maybe 1/3 of the show at a glance.

This seemed at a glance to be the best the Chantilly show has looked in years, at least that I have seen. Plenty of vintage, pre-war and of course a ton of shiny plastic and autos/memorabilia.

Dan is at the show and as always has a lot of great cards (great chatting w/ you Dan!). Ran into Ken Cohen, but he didn't appear to be selling. Larrie Dean has some new T205s, T206s and Goudeys.

I'm definitely going back at some point this weekend when I have more time.

Just got back. I've been to a few Chantilly shows in the past little bit, usually walk out after 30 minutes. Think we were there for 3 hours.

Lots of very nice pre-war to be found. Think I handled more T206s than ever in my life today. And the show, in general, seemed to be much bigger and with some truly excellent displays. (RGIII Sunday signing effect?)

Thanks to (I believe) William Chappell who let me flip through what seemed to be hundreds of his T206s. Great stuff and got a very nice Krause EPDG that goes right into the collection.

Had a blast, anyone thinking of going, please do.

I was there this afternoon and picked up several nice pre wars - a T211 from Dan M., and some C46s. There was more prewar than in the last several shows. Seemed to be more customers walking around as well.

In a complicated 3 way deal I picked up a T211 from Andy Cook with a player to be named later and future cash considerations going to Dan M. Seemed to be a bit more traffic and life, wouldn't you know it, just when I stop setting up.
Also picked up a 1947 Washington Senators yearbook (first one issued and pretty tough to find) from Rand Bailey. He has nice stuff and if set up next to Dan M.
