The colors are too washed out and too red overall. The bottom border on the Montgomery is too wide. I emailed the seller three days ago regarding the color of the ink on the reverse of the cards. I had forgotten about the auction until this evening and realized that he/she had never mailed back.<br /><br />The seller also has some Goudeys for sale including a Ruth. I do not have as much experience with the Goudeys as the Chicles but they look bad to me as well. Somebody should post on the pre-war baseball page as well if these are indeed not legit.
