Thank you Leon

Probably not said enough, but thank you Leon for running this three ring circus. Day in and day out. Lots of craziness in the course of a year to deal with, and I am sure there are many days where I can't believe it's worth the aggravation. But thanks for hanging in there and running a site that provides a good deal of pleasure to many of us. An escape from other things in the world. And an invaluable resource tool. Thank you.

Double down on what Steve posted. Thank you very much, Leon! I know myself, and I’m sure many others, really enjoy the site and community. First site to check every day. Thank You, Scott

Leon,

Thanks for dealing with a group of misfits like us. We truly appreciate all that you do.

Happy New Year!

brianclat11 12-27-2022 07:29 PM

Thanks Leon! Such an awesome, well-managed site for all of us to spend our spare time.

Bored5000 12-27-2022 07:30 PM

I echo what the previous posters wrote. I appreciate that Leon is so vigilant about booting out scammers and keeping this a safe place to buy, sell and trade.

Well said and great shout out.

Thanks Leon for all you do. And in honor of his Golding Rule

Every Thread Needs a Card

I barely have a vintage or pre-war collection. I acquire a low-cost old card about once a year. But I check in on this site nearly every day and have since I found it thirteen years ago. Thanks, Leon. -George

Thanks Leon, for all the hard work that goes along with being the curator of what is actually an amazing repository of knowledge, as well as a welcome source of humor and hobby news!

robw1959 12-27-2022 07:57 PM

I agree with everyone else. In fact, nearly all of my graded HOF cards, most of which are pre-war, have been obtained right here (not to mention sales transactions as well). Thanks so much, Leon!

BobC 12-27-2022 08:06 PM

Agree with everyone else, great job as always Leon. Happy New Year to you and yours!

+1 and a sincere thank you for dealing with all that entails running one of the best sites I have ever had the pleasure of accidently finding :D

rjackson44 12-28-2022 04:22 AM

Thanks leon enjoy your holidays

cubman1941 12-28-2022 04:38 AM

Leon, everyone has said it much better than I could. The first thing I do every morning is come to the site and read. I enjoy the fact I have been able to learn so much from so many people and learn more everyday. After all these years, I recently started reading, every day, the Watercooler and Chat forums. You have, as said earlier, produced a site that brings enjoyment and pleasure to many people and not very many sites can say that. Thank you very much and I wish you a very Happy New year.

Thanks Leon!!!!
Have a great new year !!!!

I agree with the sentiments here. Net54 is one of my favorite sites for a good reason.

SyrNy1960 12-28-2022 05:46 AM

This is the best running forum I have ever been a part of. I'm on here, at a minimum, 20 times a day reading posts, even though I'm mainly a game used collector. What's most impressive about Leon is how patient and fair he is with people. We all have our bad moments, but Leon's not quick to judge and he involves members in helping him make some decisions in order to be fair. This is what keeps me wanting to be a part of this forum. I just wish I collected what you all collect, so I could be more involved. Great job Leon!!!

You're welcome, guys. It is our members that make this place what it is, not any kind of management.

But, It's truly my pleasure to be able to run it (with some technical help). I definitely make mistakes but always want the best for the forum and try to be fair.

Thanks to all members and happy holidays!

and a BST pick up from a few years back...

+1!

Been on the board since 2004! My collection or knowledge or enthusiasm for collecting pre war wouldn't be anything that it is without this board and the great people I've interacted with here!

jbsports33 12-28-2022 10:13 AM

Yes - Thank you Leon! and happy new year everyone!

I'm not so sure thanks are in order here...

If it wasn't for Leon and his pre-war henchmen I would probably have a remodeled kitchen and had a shiny new truck in the driveway, instead I have 3 suitcases of cardboard pictures depicting deceased men in uniform.

Seriously, thanks Leon for keeping the inmates from running the asylum, it's a one of a kind place and a very special community.
