1962 American Tract Society

Posted By: JimCrandell
Has anyone ever seen a set of these. There are four baseball players(two have variations)included in this religiously themed set.

The only card I have seen is this one. Felipe Alou, Al Worthington and Jerry Kindall are also in the set. Worthington is card 66 so apparently at least that many cards in the set.

(There are two poses each of Alou and Kindall.)

Posted By: Dave Hornish
The Tract Society would go to churches, have a little talk and leave behind cards and flyers. I missed the cards when I was a kid but definitely remember having the Felipe Alou flyer. This would be in the mid to late 60's, at or near the apex of my attendance.

Posted By: Dave Hornish
Multisport/"Mixed Non-Sport" sets are the orphans of the price guides. You can find the sports cards checklisted, or the non-sports cards from a set such a this but rarely are they all tied up together in one list unless they are Topps cards (and not always then, either). There must be a dozen sets at least in this category.
