Heritage Auction #50015 - July 18-20. Bidding Has Started!

Hi Everyone,

Heritage Signature Auction #50015 is coming up fast and is an extra special auction! This auction will be in three sessions with lots ending on July 18, 19, and 20, 2019. Please note our new bidding increments (See Chart Below) and look into the improvements to our “Watch List” feature. We have a great selection and over 2,200 lots including a very special selection of T206s cards from the David Hall Collection! Catalogs should already be in bidders hands. This is a cards only auction! The extended bidding format is the same as it has been for years. Open (or Proxy) bidding ends at 10pm central time on the day the lot ends. You will have to have placed a bid on a lot prior to this time to bid during the extended bidding period. Our ending format is a 30-minute clock rule on each individual lot. After 10pm central, each time a lot receives a bid the clock goes back to 30 minutes. Historically, 85-90% of the lots are closed by midnight central time. To get detailed information on a specific lot see the “Auction Info” section on each lot page. That will tell you what day the lots ends, the times, bid activity, etc.

If you have questions or issues about the auction, it is best to email me at peterc@ha.com.

Friendly suggestion: Please do not wait until the last minute to place bids. When the open bid session is ending, caller activity can be heavy. We cannot update or verify your credit card information, references, etc. at that time as well as tell you what your password is. All I can do is send you an email for you to reset it.

Thank You and Good Luck,

Peter

Peter,
Can I get back on the catalog mailing list? I used to get them and it stopped. I have both consigned and purchased with Heritage in the past.

Thanks,
Kevin

Peter, our of curiosity, why did you guys change the bid increments?

Heritage

Kevin - Sent you a PM.

Rhothkiss- Part of the feedback Heritage has gotten is people saying they would have bid again but not at the full increment. We adjusted them to encourage bidding. Obviously, this will have greater impact with high-dollar cards but hopefully will be an incentive for collectors at all value levels.

We also updated our want list feature so you can choose a specific grade or grade range and a separate option for choosing a dollar value range.
