SGC to PSA odds

Anyone have an idea of the odds of an SGC 9 being crossed over to a PSA 9? Have only tried to cross 1-2 cards over to PSA and they were both BVG (and predictably got rejected).

I have only sent three SGC graded cards to PSA for crossover, two 9s ans one 8. All three crossed to the same grade. You just need to look at the SGC cards closely before sending to PSA.

I have had great success in crossing to PSA from SGC, and vice versa, actually. These were all in the VG to NrMT range, as anything above an 8 or 88is a crapshoot to begin with ....

I just had a PSA 5 cross over to SGC as a 30. My luck. Go figure. Only reason I did anything was because the PSA case opened for some odd reason and SGC was accepting submissions at a local show. Probably some kind of record for crappy crossover outcomes.

What grade do you think the card really deserves?

Thought I'd get a SGC 60.

Thanks guys! It's a 96 so will be interesting. I'll check it out closer once it arrives.

FWIW most people I know have had the snot kicked out of their submissions lately, especially on cross-overs.

Yeah, just ask the guy on the CU forums with his 1971 Munson sgc 96
It did not go well.

The Munson did not make the grade at PSA...so I sent it back to SGC to be regraded and now am awaiting the results

And have heard the same in reverse.

There was also a PSA 4 that was resubmitted and came back a PSA 7. :confused:

I forget the members name, but I remember reading/commenting on it months ago.

PSA= Please Submit Again.

Always wonder if you might not get a better shot turning it in at one of those shows where you get it back the same day. I know they will deny it but the fact that you are staring at your customer and might face a pissed off person at the end of the day, and might not have as much time with the card, might have some incremental effect.

I recently (last 6 months) I had a 60's card that I crossed from a SGC 8 to PSA 9. I did crack it first and sent in with a lot of original raw cards in a 50 day submission special.
