What did you win in the Mastro Auction?

Posted By: Bob
I got lucky on a couple of cards, the highest graded 1911 Zeenut Rapps and a nicely priced T200 Fatima New York Giants. Based on past auctions I thought both cards were big bargains.

Posted By: Sean C
Seems like prices were a bit low. In a better market, I'd have probably bid a couple more times on the items I was going after. Guess a lot of bidders were in similar places.

Posted By: Matt
Bob - I almost bid you up on that T200 - presents much nicer then the technical grade; nice pickup.

Picked up the lot of 54 E121s - keeping a few and the rest will be available.

Posted By: Marc S.
glad that I got most of my Phillies rare backs before some of the whales stepped in.

I remember the "good ole days" when it was only the red Hindus that were really tough. Now that mid-grade Brown Hindus are consistently seeing $400+ bids, I think there may be some changes to the back multiplier paradigm, unless someone starts unloading.

Posted By: boxingcardman
All other bids were underbids.

At least with boxing cards the pricing was steady given the grades of the cards in question. The 2 card Tolstoi lot (T218 Johnson, T220 Sullivan) went for a lot ($850 plus vig).

Sic Gorgiamus Allos Subjectatos Nunc
