Beautiful N173
Jeremy,
Nice pickup of Keith's N173. It's a beautiful card. I was tempted to make an offer myself, but I have resisted the temptation of collecting 19th Century cards. Enjoy, Patrick |
Thanks

Thanks Patrick... What did it for me was the mask laying on the ground and his striped hat ! :D |

"Cool dude" Billy Nattress.........
1 Attachment(s)
An upgrade to my T206 collection. I always thought the T206 Billy Nattress portrait looks somewhat modern. His slight smile and knowing gaze seem to say, "Yeah, I'm cool". He was a career minor leaguer, but a "cool dude" nonetheless.
T206's are intriguing in so many ways. |

look at this listing from the last REA auction which mentions Walter J. Danahy, same as your photo:
http://www.robertedwardauctions.com/.../2010/112.html "A number of player names are written on the reverse of the mount (7 x 5.125 inches) in pencil, as is the notation "Donated by Walter J. Danahy - Framingham Mass - 1951." (The name "Walter J. Danahy" sounds very familiar to us but we have so far been unable to place it.) " |
Matt.. I truly love that Old Timers Day Photo, Congrats!
