Posted By: Evan
Hello,
I have read this forum for about 3 months. I am quite impressed with the amount of knowledge in so many varied aspects of collectibles. I realize that this area is reserved for pre-war unsigned cards, but I am hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I recently completed a full set of signed yellow hof plaque postcards and have begun to attempt to do the same with the 1980 perez steele set. I humbly ask this boards help in acquiring a price guide as to the values of these cards. I have tried tuff stuff magazine and sports collectors digest and found them somewhat all over the place in terms of values. I recently purchased a signed Paul Kerr and have absolutely no clue as to it's value. I tried your memorabilia area and the only response I received was a gentleman asking me who Paul Kerr was. I appreciate any help that I can get. Thank you

Posted By: Evan
He preceded Edward Stack as president of the baseball hall of fame. I guess I should have added that.

Posted By: Evan
It seems not many people know who he is (was). I imagine that would make the signed card pretty rare.

Posted By: Paul S
That could make it rare, or scarce (I get those confused) but that wouldn't necessarilly give it a different value than what you paid for it. That would depend upon if people desire it.

*edited for clarity, I think.
