St. Louis show October 24 - 26

There will be a show in St. Louis this weekend, October 24 - 26. Here is a link for information on the show http://afterthegameinc.com/

Roger Neufeldt, Wayne Johnson and William Chappell and others will be setup with vintage cards.

If you are in the area please stop by the show.

I plan on attending on Sunday - with my 14 year old son - and I am looking forward to catching up with Wayne, etc. and any of you who happen to be there. I don't have a Net54 shirt, but I plan to wear my Cubs hat from Andre Dawson's HOF induction; I will be the guy being hassled by all of the Cardinals fans. If you see me and are so inclined, please say hello. I would love to catch up in person with other Net54ers.

I'll be there in and out through the weekend. Solid local show.

I'll be there. Looking forward to it.

I will be over after work tomorrow. I work in Westport Plaza so that is the most convenient time for me to make it over.

Any other Net54ers going to be there tonight?

For those setting up where are your tables at?

Just got back from the show

My son and I had a good time at the show, and had some nice conversations with William Chappell, Wayne Johnson and Roger Neufeldt, and others. We even made a few purchases - some 39 Playball cards, a T206 Tinker and some Brooks Robinson cards for a friend. There was a good selection of pre-War cards: lots of T206 (graded and ungraded) and T3s at both William's table and Roger's table. There were several dealers with books and oddball items. It seemed that a lot of people came for the autograph guests (Yount, Gibson, Schoendienst while we were there). I hope it was a good show for the collectors and the dealers.

I was very happy with the show. Picked up a Berk Ross Musial and some Goudeys. Got autos from my favorite player Willie McGee and also got one from Ozzie. What a class act that man is. My son loved him.

Had to work.. missed the show. Sounds like it was a good one.

This three day is so much fun since there is a much better selection of vintage than the monthly show. Yet every year without fail it is on a busy weekend for me. If I didn't work right next to it and have a chance to get over after work on Friday I would never make it over. I was hoping to cheat over quickly again on Sunday to get some more cards from Chappell that I passed on but just couldn't.
