Joe Wood around the age of 10 and 16. He's the kid standing on the right in the 1st photo and seated on the bottom right in the 2nd photo. The 3rd photo is of Carl Mays.

From my scan collection. My interest in the piece is that Deacon McGuire was the manager:

A Deacon McGuire draft ALS written on the back of a fan's letter to him.

(Thanks, Rhys.)

This 1938 card was bought as a companion piece to display with the exceedingly rare '38 "heads up" wrapper. I decided on Foxx because I felt he gave me the biggest bang for my buck. And. it didn't hurt that he became the first three-time winner of the MVP in that year as well.

I can't wait to see Rawn's items. I am sure there will be some "Rough" items. This is one of my favorite items, a tribute to Duffy Lewis in 1947. He started the left field tradition (Duffy's Cliff) in Red Sox lore before the Kid and Yaz and Rice.
