1963 topps baseball errors/variation cards

2 Attachment(s)
Long time reading of threads here and have enjoyed them, first time posting...
...Long time collector here and recently picked up a "lot" of 1963 Tops baseball cards.
...Have always been aware of the various errors and variations in this set, but just came across one that I was not able to find any info on.....

....It is card #210 with Harvey Haddix on the front and the back of the card is that of Sandy Koufax.......found 2 of these and pictures are attached.....
...anyone share any light on this??

Thanks, much appreciated
Joe

Hand cut or factory cut? My first guess would be salesman's sample. Second guess would be sheet was fed in backwards, but there would be hundreds of them in that case.
Here's the reverse of it:

Here's one for sale at $2,500: preposterous.

And another mention:

Most likely answer: Topps got the sheet layout reversed on those two cards during the initial part of the print run, like the 1989 Fleer Mike Heath and Tom Brookens.

COMC has six other wrong back cards cataloged from 1963 Topps:

The odd thing to me is that they're from many different series.
73 Bobby Bragan / 77 Al Spangler
197 Roger Craig / 218 Tiger Twirlers
207 Ken Hunt / 281 Tom Sturdivant
210 Sandy Koufax / 239 Harvey Haddix and vice versa
213 Billy Hitchcock / 215 Bob Skinner
224 Mike Rourke / 270 Felipe Alou
538 George Brunet / 568 Bob Sadowski

This kind of thing is actually more common that you think in a lot of 1960's Topps sets.
