1992-93 Upper Deck Basketball - SB stamp?

I feel like I've seen this stamp on a card before, and just saw it again.

It looks to be an SB in an oval, and potentially a serial number or something above it.

Tcdb doesn't have that stamp on the example of the specific card.

This copy of the card in particular has an autograph, and tcdb doesn't show any auto inserts in the set.

I would assume the auto was gotten later, but I don't know what the heck the stamp means.

Any ideas?

Ken Goldin special.

The SB was his defunct company Score Board Inc that sold autoed items on QVC home shopping. He sold legit items but the COAs were easily counterfeited and after the closure lots of fake items with Score Board certs hit the market. So it could be real, or might not be. I know that’s one of the Basketball Heroes subset, so it’s Chamberlain. I would cross my fingers and send it in for a check because to many a score board cert is a scarlet letter, but you have a decent shot.

In any fashion it’s secondary market and has nothing to do with Upper Deck.

Ah, thanks for the info. Mystery solved. Good eye on it being Wilt.

For the record, it's not my card. I saw it in an auction a few days ago and didn't want to blow up anyone's spot because I was asking about it.

It looked legit to me, but I'm very wary of autos on anything.
