Anyone have any clue? 1917, give or take 1 year. I can’t tell if those are WS banners hanging on the balcony, then I was thinking maybe BP, Ebbets Field, 1916 WS, but I could be totally wrong.

Just spitballing here but it doesn't seem to be Ebbets of that era...

Please note this image, is of the Polo Grounds.
What you see in the background is the Terra Cotta freeze than covered the upper & lower levels. The upper level freeze represented the code of arms for all NL Teams active in 1911, the lower Freeze was a continuous motif design that ran along the lower grandstand. In 1923 Giant Owner Charles Stoneham decided that care and maintenance for the Freeze was too costly and time consuming and began their removal in 1923. The freeze was part of the new rebuilt Concrete and Iron Polo Grounds after the 1911 fire that gutted the old wooden ballpark. Hope this helps |
