Help on consigning

I posted a thread in the for sale 1920s section, but am going to try it differently here. I am going to be selling a 1928 Harrington Ty Cobb PSA 6 (highest graded). I have never consigned a card before. Is this the right card to do it with? If so, what are your opinions on which auction houses are the best option. I assume that the volume of views is what I am looking for. Is there one AH that is deemed to be "the best"?

Thanks for you help, this is very new to me on the selling side.....

There is not an AH that is the best. I am currently working with four different houses, all of which have their strengths and weaknesses. As much as anything, it's important to get a feel of who you like and trust. Almost certainly, you will not pick perfectly, the trick is simply not to pick poorly. I don't think you would go wrong with starting with the advertisers on this board. I have had luck with L&B, Love of the Game, Huggins, Baggers, and Sterling. I deal with a variety of houses both to get a feel for what items do best where and quite simply because I consider all of the above to be friends as well as honest and fair people. I am not all that familiar with the particular card you are looking at auctioning, but a quick google search will yield some auction houses that have had similar items for sale and how well they have done.
