Posted By: James Gallo
Hell considering some of the stuff I have seen that isn't too bad for a wagner and a PSA 1.

The guy is totally fishing for a price. If you look at his auctions it's all new stuff and mostly Football. I would even go as far to say the seller may not be the owner and it is on consignment.

Hell if I had an extra 100K I would go after that

James Gallo

Looking for 1915 Cracker Jacks and 1909-11 American Caramel E90-1.

Posted By: Hal Lewis
I agree.

For a PSA 1, it is a nice card...

especially when you consider that you could take it out of the slab, crumple it up in a ball, uncrumple it, send it back in and still get the same grade.

Posted By: Jim F
You'd figure that someone trying to sell this card would do a better ad. Why do people feel the need to use a font that large and why would you not take your time and a few spelling lessons when writing it out? If he doesn't get an offer he finds acceptable on ebay he should just consign it to someone that knows what they are doing with material like this. I think this guy is actually cheapening his own card with that ad. Jim.

Posted By: Bruce Babcock
He also has a 2006 LEAF CERTIFIED: FRESHMAN FABRIC G/U JERSEY CARD OF THE RAMS JOE KLOPFENSTEIN up for auction. Maybe he would cut a deal if someone wanted both cards.

Posted By: JimB
I think there is a conspiracy here. Everybody who tries to sell a T206 Wagner on Ebay seems to have gotten a D- in spelling in 6th grade.
JimB

Posted By: barrysloate
It is funny that someone could post a card he is asking nearly a quarter of a million dollars for and not spend one extra minute on the description to check his spelling. That's definitely an ebay phenomenon.

Posted By: fkw
For what its worth, it is the Tri Star card..... I recognize it with the chip on the chin, and it is a scan of that particualt Wagner I have not seen before with the tan background (I have a scan of it with a black background).

I think he was just sticking it out there as to get offers so he has more of an idea what it might go for. Should have left it up longer, I didnt even see it until it was posted on this message board.
