Need help identifying a signature
 

Does anyone recognize this signature? I believe my parents purchased this at a charity auction for my school in the mid 90s. From what I recall, they were the only bidder on this piece and did not pay more than $5-10. I believe this was signed by a baseball player from the Reds, but I may be mistaken. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I have absolutely no idea how you got Ray Knight out of that that scribble, but it looks nearly identical to examples on Ebay. I really appreciate you solving that mystery for me.

I believe that Knight was married to pro golfer Nancy Lopez, thus the golf connection.

That was the first clue, but the first letters of each name looked like Knight's and after checking one I still have on hand I noticed that for some reason he doesn't seem to let the "y" in Ray go below the baseline.
