2018 Signed Investments HOF Premium Edition

I had my interest peak after seeing the limited run of only 250 boxes in addition to the price point of $99.99 for 2 encased HOF autographed cards. Are there any other board members out there that ended up grabbing a box of this product? I will post my results when the box arrives. Please feel free to post any results or chatter with regards to this product here......

Thanks,

Jeff

IMHO, all it is is artificial scarcity to drive up/justify their high prices.

Box came in this afternoon.....

1996 Leaf Signature Series Andre Dawson
2001 Team Topps 1975 Reprint Frank Robinson

For some reason, I can not upload the photos to my post, so my apologies for a lack of photos. Overall value wise, these cards could be had in the $50-60 range for the pair on ebay. So I didn't do so hot in that regard. That being said, bringing 2 cards to a show and having them signed by these players would take me over the price of a box. So however one would like to justify the cost/value....have at it. Lol.

The company also offers a buyback program if you would like to send them back for a refund. Dawson is at $15, while Robinson is at $25. A somewhat interesting concept I'd say.....

I hope this info helps anybody that was considering a purchase or was just curious about the product.

So they are essentially buy back of previously issued certified autograph cards that are aftermarket encased? I suppose that this would add some value to the original card to some folks, because some player collectors are willing to buy anything. Are they serial numbered on the cards or case to limit them in any way?

Re:

They state that each card is encased or encapsulated. There seems to be a mix of previously released autographs like I received, and graded cards from all the major grading companies as well. I have seen a photo of an Ivan Rodriguez PSA graded minor league card signed.

Re:

There are no serial numbers on either card or case. That being said, it is stated that some of the cards can be numbered and that there are 1/1's available.

Re:

Correction:

The Rodriguez minor league auto I have seen was a Beckett. Whereas, a Ripken auto on a 94 SP card was a PSA.
