What are these?

Does anyone know what these are?
Just picked them up but I could not find these in the SCD catalogue.

These are 2 5/8" x 3", thick cardboard (1/16"), blank back,
Players pictured are
Larry Doby, Hank Bauer, Gil Hodges, Alvin Dark and Del Ennis.

Here are pics...

Not sure what they are but they all look like the artwork in either 51 or 52 Bowman cards of each on the players pictured.
Interested to see if someone with better knowledge Dan shed some light on them.

All same exact size ?

Stack them into a pile and check for uniformity of height and width ; they may have been hand cut . Neat , though .

Are they blank backed? Could they have been cut off of some type of spiral binder ? They do look like the early 50's Bowman . Interesting .Hope someone can help . Brett

They are blank backed.

There are lines at the bottom of a couple of them. You can see it on the Alvin Dark and Gil Hodges.
I'll be honest though. I can't be sure these were hand cut despite being poorly cut. The size on each card is pretty much the same and I would think if they were cut that poorly by hand, the size would vary a little bit.
A few of the poses, but not all, are similar to either 1952 or 1953 Bowman.

Final Bump...

Try search, I believe these have been discussed here before. That Dark card looks familiar so maybe he is the search term.
