I've decided to compile the stats for my hometown baseball teams, and create my own HOF for them based on MLB awards. I figured this might be interesting.

Here is the link for the stats of each player, their awards, and their age/year:

That's a beautiful Tinker! That's the one I would like to pick up at some point for my Helena collection. I'm a bit bummed that none of his cards mention Helena, but the CJ mentions Denver in 1900, which is about as close as it gets to his time in Helena.

Per his Wiki:

Tinker started his professional baseball career in 1900, at the age of 19, when Billy Hulen, a teammate of Tinker's with the Coffeyville squad, recommended him to George Tebeau, the manager of the Denver Grizzlies of the Western League. Playing as a second baseman for Denver, Tinker batted .219 in his first 32 games. Tebeau sold Tinker to the Great Falls Indians of the Montana State League in June. Great Falls sold Tinker to the Helena Senators, also in the Montana State League, for $200 later in the season due to the team's financial insolvency.

Also, a little Helena, MT history: http://www.helenahistory.org/Broadwater_natatorium.htm

The Broadwater Natatorium is probably my favorite piece of Helena, MT history.

You're in Helena? I grew up in Billings. The Pioneer League was a treasure. Billings old stadium, Cobb Field, was a real gem. They replaced it with a cement horseshoe. Went to Helena in 2013, Labor Day, went to the ball game. That stadium was a true time traveling event. It felt life it was 100 years old. It was wonderful. Have they replaced it yet, or updated it at all?
