Perez-Steele Slab and Cut Auto

I have a Perez-Steele PSA 10 to which I would like to add a cut signature. Does anyone have experience with the mechanics of the PSA submission to authenticate the signature and have it added to the slab while still retaining the PSA 10 grade? I would probably just go with an authenticated signature rather than a grade on it because it’s good but not a 10.

Thanks,
Steve

What I think you're asking:
1) You have a Perez Steele card graded a PSA 10 of a player.
2) You also have a cut autograph of that player.
3) You want to somehow affix the autograph to the card, but have the PSA 10 on the card retained, and the auto authenticated.

PSA won't do this. The only way they authenticate cut signatures added to cards is with the Blue Flip PSA/DNA in which they authenticate and/or grade the signature. In order to add the auto, you have to give up the red flip PSA 10, because you're altering the card from its original state.
Edit: you could also do the Red flip with card AUTH and the auto graded, if you wanted.
Note: if you add an autograph to a card that was not originally autographed, it cannot be used in the regular set registry. Can only be used in PSA/DNA set registry or a special autographed set registry.

Good info, thanks

I have a lower grade version of this card I might use with the cut then. Thanks.
