1994 collectors choice Jeter white letter???
 

This has probably been discussed before, but I'm looking for some answers on the 1994 Collectors Choice Derek Jeter.

I know there is only one gold signature.

There are also two silver signatures. One with silver lettering and one with white.

As for the base, PSA lists a white letter variation. I understand this to be the "D" on the back is white. However, ever card that I look at has the white "D".

Why is it being listed as a variation if it's the only one? Is there a base card that has a silver "D"?

Thank you for sharing. So if I read this correctly, there is NO regular issue card with gray back "D"?

There are only these variations...

no signature, white front letters, white "D"
silver signature, silver front letters, silver "D"
silver signature, white front letters, white "D"
gold signature, gold front letters, gold "D"

There is no such thing as a no signature, white front, silver "D"?

CORRECT! No gray/silver D version exists for the base card.

As for PSA’s mistake, the 5th line is the same thing as the 1st line.

Good! One less card I need to worry about!!!!

I still wonder if they're out there. I have to imagine they're theoretically possible since so many of the other FF base cards can be found with a silver first letter, including ARod.
