Christie's Auction

Christies has another Golden Age of Baseball Auction about to kick off. March 29 - April 6. You can view the auction now online.

Yes, I've outed an entire auction. I'm filled with shame and self-loathing. I hope you can forgive me.

I wish all Auction Houses were listed in the banner/at the top of the page/site for all to see.
I usually hear of auctions after they are over or almost over. With the amount of them and the fact there seems to be one going on at some point in time, I don't understand why they are not listed here, unless it is a sponsorship thing?

Like you, I wish when people spoke of them in posts, they'd at least post a link to them.

It's highly unlikely I'll be bidding in one anytime soon, but I do like to follow them when i can.

Careful on the photos, no guarantees on being type one. Lot #107 (Bain Matty) is a type 3 for example.

Yes, the AHs that are listed are advertising here on Net54. The ones that aren't listed don't advertise here.

It's also a bit ridiculous that they have 99 item photo lots and they show 4 of the photos- I understand you can contact them for more images but how is it not more efficient to scan them in and show them to begin with

It looks like there are very few baseball cards. Am I missing something?

The consignor was not a big card collector. Most of his collection consisted of photos and other memorabilia.
