The lids are found with many different ice cream brand backs. The 1930s lids are found in 2 different sizes, 2-11/16", 2-5/16", while the 1950s 3 different sizes 3-3/16", 2-11/16", 2-1/4")

Round 38 Dixie Lids

Posted By: Mike
Thanks Leon....I will look through my back issues. I have a SGC graded 4, a Sunfreeze Icecream, and a Global graded 7, a Hoodsie. SGC's holder is very nice. Cutout to fit the lid. The Global, is just stuck in a sleeve. I have no plans on chasing any more of these. I would if it could be determined that one particular brand was much much rarer than the others.

Posted By: Mike
The Old cardboard article dealt mostly with the 50's issues. The small lids from the 30's got virtually no mention. They did mention the Premiums however, but only in passing. No mention was made in any way as to rarity of any of the 30's issues.
