apparent suicide in his home sad story.liked him from his usc days.feel sad.

I just heard it too. Shocking news....Seau was such a great player. I wonder what happened to him.

Didn't know much about him personally and he never played for teams I liked, but I liked him. A great player and the team leader when on the field.

Apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, along with a note saying he wanted his brain studied for CTE. Just like Dave Duerson did last year...

And these concussion related incidents only seem to be increasing

Where are you getting this information, police said no note was found, according to the networks.

I think he's mistakenly referring to former Bear Dave Duerson who did that. Duerson was probably mentioned in the article he read.

Shocked and very sad to hear about this yesterday. Seau played for 20 years in the NFL. That in itself is amazing! A once in a generation linebacker and leader.

Steve I agree a classy player heard he had a depression issue. 20 years wow unreal.
