Anyne collect (or know anything about)space shuttle memorabilia?

Today I picked up a photo album containing several space shuttle photos and photos of what I am assuming are some of the astronauts. The space shuttle photos are 8 X 10 and the astronaut photos are 3-1/2 X 4-1/2. The space shuttle photos have some kind of marking (looks like a cross hair) about every 2-3/4" apart. The astronaut photos don't have these markings. Could these be original NASA photos? If so, any value? Does anybody have any idea what the cross hair markings are?

I've scanned a couple of each, there are several more.

That's Sally Ride and (I think) Norman Thagard from the STS-7 crew. I used to collect the crew patches but it's been a long time since I dealt with any NASA memorabilia.

And here is an explanation of the 'hatch marks'.

Original space memorabilia, including original photos, are very popularly collected. Original NASA photos will typically have their stamping on back. I can't tell you if your photos are original just from these images, but they do have color fading/discolorization consistent with old color photos.

If you can see the backs, they may have the photopaper manufacturer branding (Kodak, etc) that would date the photos.

Thanks! They do have the Kodak branding on the back ("This Paper Manufactured By Kodak"), but no other markings. They were in an older photo album, so the backs are a slightly brighter white than the fronts which do show a tiny bit of yellowing. They're not all the exact same size. I'm calling them 8 X10s, but they vary in size by up to 1/4" so they weren't cut evenly.

I have a WindSport Shuttle windsock :) I used to put is out during missions. Last time I hung it up was during the transport to the museum in LA. It is currently in retirement.

If it's "THIS PAPER / MANUFACTURED / BY KODAK" three lines they are period/vintage, those are all quality images/'poses'

RRAuction sells a lot of Space memorabilia, so if you were looking to auction...

Yes, it is in 3 lines exactly as you have written. Thank you, sir.
