A very nice card, Peter, and glad you were able to sell it so quickly. Remind me again what your definition of a true rookie card is? I know we've discussed this before. Just curious your thoughts on this card and its stature in the market.

Jeff -- as it was a 48-49 it was clearly issued before the 50 Bowman. I consider Exhibits to be "cards" although of course they weren't distributed in the same way as Goudey, Bowman, Topps etc. I'm not sure I can define a "card" in any precise way, it's more I guess a subjective judgment on any given item. Finally, I'm not aware of any earlier item that I would consider a "card" but if there is one I would stand corrected and offer a refund to the purchaser if he feels he was misled.

Understand. Didn't know if your definition of a rookie card was tied to it having to be nationally distributed / mainstream or not. Agree it is tricky to define what is an isn't a 'card'. I consider the Exhibits to be cards too!

The only two cards I would think might be considered earlier than the Exhibit for Graham are the 1946 Sears Browns and 1948 Browns Team Set RPPC. Unless you don't consider real photo post cards to be 'cards'.

Jeff thanks, I was not aware of those issues. I've passed along to the buyer.
