I always feel that the live attendees have a distinct bidding advantage, as it is far more advantageous to see an item in person than in a one dimensional catalogue.<br /><br />Plus, it is fun to attend. The one in SF (in conjunction with the All Star Game) was very cool. Sure wish they would do more of these on the West Coast...
