My collection on flickr

Over the past year I have finally organized and catalogued my collection. I also got it slabbed which I had mixed feelings about but decided to do. Catagories are alphabetical within so a $10 card may be next to a $2000 one. If you have some free time enjoy looking. And now I don't have to run to the lockbox all the time to take a look

I immediately went to the Jewish section and took a cursory glance. Not Jewish myself, but I find this subset of collecting intriguing. Glad to see my very good friend Harry heavily represented. Never owned the '39 PB myself.

I don't care how beat-up that Pitler is, it's still nice!

Good to see somebody appreciate the Dave McNally RC even if it wasn't signed by him. I've thought about having it signed by Cardinal (who was tough for many years), but it just doesn't make sense. As an unrelated aside, he's a Christian as well as a minister.

How have I never realized that Lefty Phillips was Jewish?!

Very cool, love the Billy Hamilton. Did you have PSA come to you? I wouldn't want those cards to leave my site.

Yes they came 3x but they did take them along so the rest of the team could look at them (Bill Corcoran came). The higher value items needed a consensus. I didnt want to ship them without them seeing them and was much more comfortable having them render initial opinions here and then taking them straight on the plane as carry ons.

Very cool, I have considered having them coming out to me as well, but for some reason, I rather spend the money on more items.

I definitely see your point

Michael,
You have an amazing collection. I can’t imagine how long it took to scan all those in, but it’s a great way to share your collection with people without having to personally show them. Thanks for sharing.

I greatly cut down the size of the collection. Then it took about 5 days to scan (kind of a sick way to spend time) and another 5 to label, catalogue etc. Finally done. Did partially for insurance and partially it stops me from bidding on things I already own. I may get rid of a handful of items still and trying to get rid of a few hundred unslabbed HOFers on playing day cards from 1970 onwards if you know any potential buyers

Incredible collection, I have had the pleasure of doing business with you in the past several times. Still would love the opportunity at that brown 1934 Batter Up Hank Greenberg!

Will open your flickr for eye candy.

Best,
Brian
