Posted By: <b>CoreyRS.hanus</b><p>There are nine Baltimore News Ruths that I have seen and two more that I have not seen but have heard of. Of the nine I have seen, five are blue and four are red. Of the two I have not seen, one is blue and one is red. So based on this info I don't think one can say one color is rarer than the other. Perhaps a better way to examine the question would be to look at the known population of all 1914 Baltimore News Cards, regardless of the player, and see if there is any statistically significant difference between the two colors.<br /><br />EDITED to add that for the blue one I have not seen but only heard about, I can't rule out the possibility that it is one of those I had seen some years earlier. If that were to be the case, then I would know of only ten Baltimore News Ruths, five blue and five red. And the eleventh REA refers to would be one I had not previously been aware of.
