Almost certainly Ron Dross forgeries from the 1980s.

Rusie is certainly a blatant fake, FWIW

just a thought

if there are known forgers in the autograph collecting world that have proliferated the autograph market over the years with fakes I wonder if there has been anyone who has created a database of frauds and forgers so they can be tracked over the years????

Any reputable authenticator has done this. I have a database of thousands of fakes. In many cases, for the common mass-produced fake styles, I know who the forger is or at least the primary source they came from.

The TPAs have databases of the known major fake styles of common forgeries.

very nice thanks

how do i get a database like that? as a common person who buys an autograph?

It just takes time. A good way to do it, is to copy photos that are posted here as good or bad into an appropriately marked folder. Not saying we are perfect here, but they are many posted that are universally agreed upon as one or the other. You can start with those.

Carefully study the market. Watch auction catalogs, ebay sellers and network with other collectors for 20+ years.

Like Steve has done, I, too, have a database of thousands of forgeries.

It's a necessity.
