Would you consider autographs and cards as “ephemera”?

Odd question, but given that vintage cards were frequently thrown out and autographs are often on paper scraps and similar items, would you consider these as ephemera?

I would definitely consider something such as a ticket or program as ephemera but I think I might consider cards and autographs as the same. I’m classifying items on some documentation and wanted to see what others thought.

Thoughts?

I agree, ephemera is a good "dump category" for everything that you mentioned IMHO
I hope this helps.
