Vintage hockey collecting can be challenging & just as fun as baseball. Here is a link to a hockey collecting forum. Not as much posting as on this board, but a lot of info can be found here.

This may inspire you! It's the 1915-1916 Portland Rosebuds hockey team. They were the first U.S. squad to play for the Stanley Cup (they lost to the Montreal Canadians). The Rosebuds played in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association (PCHA). Hockey Hall of Famer Moose Johnson is in the top row, fourth from the left of the large player images. Also on the team were Charlie Tobin (the first large player photo in the second row), hockey Hall of Famer Tommy Dunderdale, Tommy Murray, Delmar Irvine, Edward Oatman, Wilfred "Smokey" Harris, Charles Uksila, and Alf Barbour. As much as we all love baseball and its ephemera, early material for other sports can be just as fun.
